Democrat KLB Deli Serdang: Hopefully SBY-AHY Apologizes To Jokowi For Accusing Miscellaneous

JAKARTA - Democrats led by Moeldoko respected the government's decision through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to reject the management of the Deli Serdang KLB results, North Sumatra. This decision is said to be evidence of no intervention from the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"This proves that there is absolutely no government intervention in internal affairs of the Democratic Party. This also proves that Mr Moeldoko has been slandered by irresponsible people who have accused the government of being behind Mr Moeldoko, "said the spokesman for the Democrats led by Moeldoko, Muhammad Rahmad in his statement, Friday, April 2.

Rahmad hopes that all parties in politics will be smart, clean and polite. Not using the politics of lies and slander.

"As servants of faith, and before the fast of Ramadan, hopefully SBY and AHY would like to apologize to President Jokowi, the government and to Mr Moeldoko, for accusing him of all kinds of things," he said.

Rahmad emphasized that the decision by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights was the first step in the long journey of democracy. The next step is through the judiciary.

"We will use the legal mechanism to obtain justice and at the same time restore the dignity of the Democratic Party as a modern, open and democratic party, becoming a large home for all Indonesian people. Let us uphold the rule of law together. This also proves to all parties that Mr. Moeldoko is law-abiding, never abusing his position as alleged by irresponsible parties, "said Rahmad.

Democrats continued, he urged cadres to remain calm and solidly unite.

"Let us show the public that we sincerely sincerely return the Democratic Party to its khittoh, namely an open, democratic, clean, smart and polite party," said Rahmad.
