JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BP BUMD) Agency has apparently conducted a study on the release of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's liquor shares from PT Delta Djakarta.

The results of the study have been sent to the DKI DPRD. This was disclosed by the Secretary of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Riyadi when contacted by reporters, Friday, March 5.

"There has been a study. One is related to a review of the share investment in PT Delta Djakarta. Then the second is a study of the divestment plan."

Divestment is the reduction of several types of assets either in the form of financial or in-kind, it can also be called the sale of a business owned by the company.

According to Riyadi, his party has sent a complete letter with the results of the study 4 times to the DKI DPRD. First, sent in May 2018, through January 2019, May 2020 and last March 2021.

The DKI DPRD, continued Riyadi, also did not provide any response or reasons why he refused the sale of DKI alcohol shares.

"There has been no written answer, as far as I know or as far as I remember, there has been no written answer. We have never been invited to be discussed or anything like that,"

Currently, DKI Pemprov owns 26.25 percent of shares in the beer production company, PT Delta Djakarta Tbk. Currently, the DKI Provincial Government is waiting for approval from the DPRD regarding the sale of PT Delta's shares.

This is because when there is a transfer of regional assets over IDR 5 billion, it must go through the approval of the DKI DPRD. This is in accordance with Government Regulation Number 27 of 2014 concerning Management of State Property.

Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi questioned the reason why the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government wants to sell shares of the liquor production company PT Delta.

According to Prasetyo, there will be no financial loss if the DKI Pemprov owns shares in PT Delta. In fact, DKI has received income from share ownership gains received since the days of DKI Governor Ali Sadikin.

"What's wrong with it? There's nothing wrong with it. The money (share profits) can be used for the RPTRA (development) grandpa, or what," said Prasetyo.
