Bobby Nasution: Don't Mess With The Budget!

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Medan, Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution, reminded all regional organizations within the Medan City Government to be entrusted with carrying out their duties, using the development budget properly and correctly.

"Don't mess around with the budget, there's no misappropriation. Don't mess with the mandate given", said Bobby, quoted by VOI from the Medan city administration website, Thursday, March 4.

He said this when giving directions as well as opening the 2021 Medan City Development Control, Planning and Implementation Coordination Meeting at Hotel Santika Dyandra, Wednesday, March 3.

In the meeting with the theme "Optimizing Collaboration of Development Resources to Improve the Quality of Health Services, Public Services and Urban Spaces Towards a Blessed, Advanced, and the Conducive City of Medan", Bobby also emphasized infrastructure issues, including problems of roads and drainage.

He emphasized that the Public Works Office must be able to develop a good image amidst the current limitations. He hopes that the work at the Public Works Agency will be carried out by professional people.

"Make this momentum to invite the public to help us", said Bobby.

President Jokowi's son-in-law emphasized that what he said was not just a ceremonial statement. He stated that he would continue to carry out supervision so that it could actually be carried out by all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).

"What I have to say will continue and I will continue to ask, continue and continue to cross-check, continue and continue to ask for accountability", said Bobby.
