BOGOR - The Regent of Bogor, West Java Ade Yasin said the cases of transmission and mortality due to COVID-19 in his district began to slope in the 18th period of the implementation of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

"The increase in positive confirmed cases began to decline, with an average increase of cases per day as many as 87 cases", he said in Cibinong, Bogor, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 2.

According to him, cases of residents who have died from the virus are now at an average of 0.14 cases per day. This figure decreased from the previous PSBB period, which averaged 0.5 cases per day.

In addition, there was an increase in the average number of patients recovering to 87.57 cases per day, from the previous PSBB period where only 74.93 cases recovered per day.

Now, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 during the pandemic in Bogor Regency has reached 10,441 cases, with details of 92 cases dying, 9,669 cases recovering, and 674 cases COVID-19 still inactive status.

The head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force said that the prevalence of COVID-19 cases in his area was also marked by a decrease in the occupancy rate of hospitals and isolation centers for COVID-19 patients.

"Usually the full occupancy of the hospital is now even sloping, as is the isolation house from a capacity of 80, with a maximum of 18 people. In the Cibogo Isolation House there are also only a few", said Ade Yasin.
