The Demokrat Party Founder Reminded SBY Not To Make Cadres As Party Servant

JAKARTA - One of the founders of the Democrat Party, Hencky Luntung, was disappointed with the statement by the Deputy Secretary of the Democratic Party (PD) Irwan who asked the founders who supported the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) to rest at home.

Hencky advised Irwan, who had just set foot in the Demokrat Party, not to be arrogant because he was being "Mr. Knows it all" in speaking. He also emphasized that the founders wanted the PD to return to its root as a nationalist, religious, and humanist party.

"Don't be arrogant. It's only yesterday you have just joined the Demokrat Party. If you don't understand, don't (talk carelessly). Tell SBY to talk to Hencky Luntung. He's the one who lied to this party. We are the founders, we want this stuff to be good, not violent, not authoritarian, we were not told to fight with the childish person. Who does he think he is? We are the ones who own the house", said Hencky to reporters, Sunday, February 28.

Hencky also reminded the Chairman of the Demokrat Party High Council (MTP), Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), and his son who is also the Chairman of the Demokrat Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) to teach politeness to the cadres. Especially to the founders of the party.

"Tell SBY to meet me, don’t be arrogant! How come a person who was just joined wants to take over the house? We as founders are disappointed with how SBY mentored his cadres who don’t understand and ask us to get out out of the house and sleep. Who do they think they are? Who does SBY think he is? Hencky Luntungan asked SBY to create cadres, not to make cadres as party servant. This means he doesn’t understand the history and he doesn’t respect us as founders. Is it natural to you if new people ask us to sleep?", Hengky said.

Hencky asked AHY as the party leader not to just order his subordinates to fire cadres. In fact, Hencky reminded him that his father, SBY, was not the founder of the party.

"I am waiting for Mr. SBY or AHY to fire all the founders. I am waiting for that. This is just an incident, that we have a house, they enter our house and rob our house. Note that. SBY should not teach these children as courtiers to control the party and wants to dismiss all founders. SBY is not a founder. SBY was born in the Demokrat Party in 2003, begging to become a member. While our party was founded in 2001", he said.

As previously reported, the deputy of General Secretary of Demokrat Party, Irwan stated that there was no way for the KLB to be supported by a number of the founders of the Democratic Party. Irwan, who is familiarly called Irwan Fecho, also said that a number of Demokrat Party internal cadres were actually outraged by the act of treason against the party.

"One hundred percent of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) and Branch Management Board (DPC) are currently angry and ask that any cadre who betrayed the Demokrat Party, SBY, and AHY be dishonorably discharged. That's why there are many people who are grateful in regions after the act of dismissal. They say the Demokrat Party is solid, AHY is bold", said Irwan.

This House of Representatives (DPR) member admits that he is surprised at the loyalty of a number of parties who claim to be the founder of the Demokrat Party but deny AHY's leadership. In fact, he suggested that the founders should be wise.

"So it is certainly strange, claiming to be a founder but not knowing and denying the fact that the Democratic Party is brilliant in the hands of a young man named AHY. It would be wise if Mr. Hencky rested at home. There was a lot of wind outside", he said.
