JAKARTA - Senior Democratic Party politician Tri Yulianto questioned the statement by the Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), who said that his party was not traded or Not for Sale uploaded on social media.

"Who wants to sell this party?" Tri said in a press conference that was held in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 25.

According to him, SBY's attitude actually showed panic in responding to the pressure from the Extraordinary Conference (KLB) within the Democratic party which was getting stronger. KLB to depose Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) from the general chairman of the Democratic party.

"SBY's panic in the face of the KLB event has no longer been contained," said Tri.

Tri assessed that SBY's panic was also influenced by the assumption that the leadership of his eldest son, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono as the General Chair of the Democratic Party was weak and doubtful.

"It's a form of panic from the AHY leadership," he continued.

Tri also highlighted SBY's message that the Democratic Party was closed from outsiders. He also asked the former head of the party with the mercy symbol to reflect when he was picked up to join at that time.

"We will pick him up to join the Democratic Party," he said.

Tri suggested that SBY no longer needed to provide any information regarding the party's internal situation. Because as Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party, it is considered that SBY no longer has a line of command because there is already a general chairman position.

"He actually doesn't have a command line anymore. Why did he speak yesterday, because there is a general chairman," Tri concluded.

Previously, the Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) sent a firm message to parties outside the political party who wanted to interfere with the leadership of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). He said the Democrat Party was not for sale.

SBY even emphasized that the Democrat Party cannot be bought even by the rich.

"I say clearly and clearly, the Democrat Party is not for sale! Even though the Democratic Party is not a party that is rich in material terms, we are not tempted by your money, no matter how big," said SBY when delivering a message uploaded to the Democratic Party's YouTube account at Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

The statement was made by SBY in response to the efforts of some parties to overthrow AHY from the chair and replace him with other people who are not cadres.

"If this movement is successful because someone wants to buy our party and then there is a facilitator, our party could experience darkness," said SBY.
