Subordinates Of Former KPK Investigators Arrest Curanmor Perpetrators In Bogor

BOGOR - The Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) arrested nine motorcycle theft suspects (curanmor) who were in action in Bogor Regency, West Java.

"Their mode is to target motorbikes parked in the yard and quiet places using the T key," said Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Harun in Bogor, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 24.

According to him, of the nine suspects, five acted as executors and four were fenders. One by one, they have been arrested by members of the Police since January 2021.

"The crime scenes (TKP) are Cisarua, Babakanmadang, Ciampea, Ciawi, Ciomas, Sukaraja, Cileungsi, Cibungbulang and Cibinong (total of 9 regions)," explained the former investigator at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Harun said the 5 suspects who acted as executors often acted from 02.00 WIB-05.00 WIB. The curanmor syndicate is a home page specialist.

The police secured 17 motorbikes from the suspects with the initials AJ, AY, DN, DS, PN, EN, AH, SL and SA.

They are threatened with being charged under Article 363 paragraph (1) to 3e, 4e and 5e of the Criminal Code. Theft with a weighting carried out by two or more people by breaking or using a fake key with the threat of seven years in prison

Then Article 480 of the Criminal Code sells, controls and becomes an intermediary for the sale and purchase of goods allegedly obtained from the proceeds of crime with the threat of a sentence of four years in prison.

"So, the five executors are threatened with seven years in prison and five prisoners for four years," said Harun.
