Jokowi's Son-in-law Bobby Nasution Visit Governor Edy

MEDAN - The elected Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution met with the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi.

"(Correct) Silaturahmi, Bobby the candidate for mayor of Medan, Insyaallah, will be inducted on the 26th. So that he came to visit, there is also a family relationship with my wife", said Governor Edy, Wednesday, February 24.

Edy said that visit like Bobby Nasution did was a common practice for elected regional heads before being inaugurated.

"Because want to be inaugurated, visit, tell and ask for directions. He will be a governor, that's great", he said.

When asked about the content of the meeting, Edy was reluctant to reveal it. However, Governor Edy said he advised Bobby to always do the best for the people of Medan.

"It's a secret, the time is about to be uncovered. Do your best, stop the passing contestation, hug everyone to build the capital of North Sumatra", he explained.

Governor Edy also advised Bobby to know and understand the history of North Sumatra. According to him, development in North Sumatra is strongly influenced by expertise and understanding of North Sumatra's history.

Then, the former Pangkostrad advised Bobby to immediately consolidate all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in the ranks of the Medan City Government.

"To work together to succeed the vision and mission that was conveyed at the beginning of the campaign, it must be implemented immediately", he said.

Not only that, but Edy also reminded President Jokowi's son-in-law that managing the government is not easy.

"He must really know about the national management system, namely the laws, the regulations that must be obeyed are the regulations in collaboration with the Medan City DPRD, I give the instructions", said Governor Edy.
