JAKARTA - Vice President (Wapres) Ma'ruf Amin was visited by Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe who was accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian at the vice presidential residence in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 24.

In the 30-minute meeting, the three of them discussed the coordination of the acceleration of development and the welfare of the people in Papua.

"Recently the Vice President was visited by the Governor of Papua, accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs. The purpose is that there are several things to discuss. Lukas Enembe also specifically extended an invitation to Vice President Ma'ruf, who was appointed by President Joko Widodo as Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Integrated Coordination Team for the Acceleration of Welfare Development in Papua and West Papua Provinces, to visit directly there.
