4 Names Appear To Replace Kabareskrim After Komjen Listyo Sigit Was Approved By The DPR To Become The National Police Chief

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Police Watch (IPW) Presidium Neta S. Pane said that after the approval of Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo as the National Police Chief, the names of successors who would become Kabareskrim emerged.

Recently, 4 names have been named as the strongest candidates to sit in the Kabareskrim seat.

"For the position of Kabareskrim, reports are circulating that there are at least 4 candidates," said Neta in his statement, Friday, January 22

The four people who are predicted to become the head of the Criminal Investigation Unit include the Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation Report, Inspector General Wahyu Hadiningrat, the East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Nico Afinta, the Aceh Regional Police Chief Inspector General Wahyu Widada, and the West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Dofiri.

Neta said that the four names emerged as the strongest candidates for Kabareskrim because they had very good track records. For example, Inspector General Wahyu Widada, who was the best graduate of the 1991 Police Academy (Akpol).

"Wahyu Widada is an engineer in the line of Chief of Police Listyo, namely Akpol 91. He is the head of the Sigit paper making team for the fit test at Commission 3," said Neta.

Meanwhile, according to Neta, Inspector General Dofiri is a senior from Komjen Listyo, namely Akpol 1989. But Neta did not specifically explain the reasons other than the seniority factor.

"Inspector General Nico Afinta is Sigit's success team who accompanied him during the due diligence at Commission 3," said Neta.

"Meanwhile, Wahyu Hadiningrat is the head of the Listyo success team who accompanied Sigit in the roadshow to various figures, including a number of former police chiefs," he continued.

The DPR previously approved Komjen Listyo Sigit as the National Police Chief. This approval decision was given after Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Ahmad Sahroni, read the report on the results of the fit and proper test which was carried out on Wednesday, January 20.
