KPK Investigates Alleged Deviation Of Bansos Difabel And PKH

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will investigate information about the alleged deviation of social assistance (bansos) for the disabled and the family hope program (PKH).

"If it is good information, we will combine it, we look for it. Because the social assistance program is not only disabled, PKH, and others," said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Karyoto to reporters, Wednesday, January 20.

The KPK is currently looking for evidence and clues regarding this allegation. Karyoto said that even though the KPK had named former Social Minister Juliari P Batubara as a suspect, the development of the investigation was continuing.

"If later, the sufficiency of information leads to a reduction in quality and other things, of course we are looking for other supporting tools and many others are still being developed," he said.

However, in investigating suspected deviations from the Harapan Family program, it is likely that it will be carried out separately or open a new investigation. This is because the KPK is currently finalizing the investigation file for the case that charged Juliari P Batubara.

"Because the number of social assistance itself is not only in the range that was received by bribes yesterday, there are many others. Surely if there is enough information, we will also catch up," he said.
