JAKARTA - Kabareskrim Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo has prepared various work programs in the first 100 days after he was officially appointed as Chief of Police.

The three-star general's first target is the completion of cases of public concern.

"In the next 100 days, of course, we have prepared programs that we can certainly carry out. One of them is the completion of cases that are of public concern," said Listyo Sigit after undergoing a fit and proper test with Commission III of the DPR RI, Wednesday, January 20.

Unfortunately, Listyo Sigit did not specifically mention the cases to be resolved. The next thing is targeting an increase in the function of the Sector Police (Polsek) which must be the basis for the resolution.

"Including how to immediately change the service posture and transparency, we will immediately do it. Hopefully everything can be on time so that there is something we can do in 100 days, in the medium and long term," he explained.

When the fit and proper test took place, Komjen Listyo confirmed that he would follow up on the recommendations of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) regarding the shooting that killed 6 members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) army.

"The extra judicial killing incident that was recommended by Komnas HAM was in the attitude of obeying and following up on the recommendations. So the KM 50 issue we are following Komnas HAM recommendations," he added.

In addition to Komnas HAM recommendations, Listyo Sigit also emphasized that his party will continue to enforce health protocols in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because, this is important for the safety of the people.

"The health protocol must still be upheld because people's health is the highest law, how can we protect the community. Moreover, we see that the figure is over 14 thousand. So it must be enforced," he said.
