PALANGKA RAYA - This prank committed by young men and young women is not exemplary. On the pretext of joking, Eko (23) and EY (16) made a video praying that Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan) would be affected by disasters such as in South Kalimantan (Kalsel).

The prayer video for Palangka Raya to be hit by this disaster was uploaded on EY's Instagram story. As a result, this video went viral on social media networks.

The Central Kalimantan Police Cyber Team immediately looked for Instagram account owners and people who prayed that Palangka Raya would be affected by a disaster. The team from the Central Kalimantan Police came to Eko's boarding house on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Palangka Raya and called EY who was in his village.

"In front of the officers, the two young people confessed that they were sorry and did not know that the video was going to go viral," information was quoted from the Public Relations Division of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police on Sunday, January 17.

"We apologize sir and claim to be sorry. We promise not to do it again," said both of them.

Central Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo has indeed paid attention to the rampant hoaxes on social media. Kapolda requested that these young men and women be coached and made a statement letter.

"We urge netizens to be careful in using social media. Do not make videos that contain insults, blasphemies or bad things, because this will cause unrest and trigger violence," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Eko Saputro.
