JAKARTA - Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said that as of today, the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta has received 155 body bags from the crash site of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane.

"Update on the activities of the DVI Team until 09.00 WIB we have obtained 155 body bags," said Rusdi in a press conference held at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Friday, January 15.

On that occasion, he also said that the DVI Team was still trying to get data and DNA samples from the families of passengers. The collection is still being carried out, so that in identifying passengers, a lot of data and DNA samples can be used.

"With the data itself, we use DNA data a lot. So, we hope that when using DNA data, more victims will be identified and will give certainty to the families of the victims," he said.

It is known that the number of passengers currently identified by the DVI team has reached 12 passengers, two of which are crew members, namely a steward on behalf of Okky Bisma and a stewardess on behalf of Mia Tresetyani.
