Daughter Reported Mother Until Detained In Demak Police, Finally Made Peace
Child case reports mother reconciling Dedi Mulyadi (ANTARA)

PURWAKARTA - DPR member Dedi Mulyadi finally succeeded in reconciling the conflict between mother and child which led to a legal case until the mother was detained at the Demak Police Headquarters, Central Java.

"Alhamdulillah, finally they are at peace. The report has also been withdrawn," said Dedi as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, January 13.

Agesti (19) initially reported her mother Sumiyatun (36) to the police on charges of domestic violence. The mother was detained, but was eventually suspended and released after Agesti withdrew the report.

The mother and child finally reconciled and embraced each other, witnessed by Dedi Mulyadi, the Demak Police Chief, K Guru and his staff.

Dedi conveyed that when he returned from Demak, Dedi admitted that he was called by the Chairman of Barisan Ksatria Nusantara (BKN) Gus Rofik from Kediri. Gus Rofik confirmed whether Dedi was accompanying conflict issues between mothers and children in Demak.

It so happened that Gus Rofik was accompanying the child who was in conflict with his mother. Because, after the case surfaced, Agesti was bullied and needed legal psychological assistance.

"We tried to communicate with Agesti and her mother to raise mutual awareness. I communicated with lawyers, meanwhile Gus Rofik and Agesti," said Dedi.

"Finally it was agreed that the case would be withdrawn. Both parties forgave each other. Witnessed by Mr. Kajar, the Police Chief and his staff in Demak. The two parties met, forgave each other, cried. The case was withdrawn. Now is in the process of restoration justice because the case has passed P21," said Dedi.

The former Regent of Purwakarta promised to Agesti that if his report was withdrawn he would be considered his own son. Agesti will also get a scholarship while studying at Pertamina University until graduation.
