JAKARTA - The public prosecutor (JPU) of the Attorney General's Office demands the seizure of the BMW X-5 car belonging to Pinangki Sirna Malasari. This car is thought to have come from the money of Bank Bali cessie convict Joko Tjandra.

"One unit of a dark blue BMW X-5 with the police number F 214 belonging to Pinangki Sirna Malasari along with a key bearing the BMW logo and STNK for the BMW X-5 vehicle belonging to Pinangki Sirna Malasari is required to be confiscated for the state," said Prosecutor Yanuar Utomo at the hearing. charges at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), quoted by Antara, Monday, January 11.

Pinangki is an inactive prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office who has been charged with three criminal acts, namely accepting bribes, money laundering as well as conspiracy related to the Joko Tjandra case.

In this case, Pinangki Sirna Malasari was charged with 4 years in prison plus a fine of Rp. 500 million, a subsidiary of 6 months in prison.

In the first indictment, Pinangki was deemed proven guilty of accepting a bribe of 450,000 US dollars (around Rp.6.6 billion) from Djoko Tjandra to arrange for Joko Tjandra to return to Indonesia without having to be executed by imprisonment of 2 years based on the Judicial Review Decision No. 12 dated 11 June 2009.

In the second indictment, Pinangki was deemed proven guilty of money laundering by exchanging 337,600 US dollars to Rp4,753,829,000.00 and subsequently using the money to purchase goods and services.

The money is spent on:

1. Purchase 1 unit of BMW X5 car worth IDR 1.753 billion.

2. Trump International apartment rental payments in the US amounting to Rp.72 million.

3. Payment of a US beauty doctor named Adam R. Kohler, amounting to Rp139,943,994.00.

4. Home care doctor payment on behalf of dr. Olivia Santoso for health and beauty care as well as a rapid test of Rp. 176,780,000.00.

5. Credit card payments at various banks worth IDR 467 million, IDR 185 million, IDR 483.5 million, and IDR 957 million.

6. The rental payment for The Pakubuwono Signature apartment from February 2020 to February 2021 is US $ 68,900 or the equivalent of IDR 940.2 million.

7. Payment for the extension of the Darmawangsa Essence apartment lease until April 2021, totaling US $ 38,400 or equivalent to IDR525.2 million.

"The defendant's income was Rp.18 million per month and had no other income and only taught at several universities, while the defendant's husband earned Rp. 11 million per month. The defendant had received US $ 500,000 out of US $ 1 million from Joko Tjandra through Andi Irfan Jaya with as much as 50,000. US dollars were given to Anita Kolopaking from the amount of 100,000 US dollars that should have been given so that the defendant controlled 450,000 US dollars, "said the prosecutor.

The 450,000 US dollars was intended to thwart the execution of Joko Tjandra as a convicted person in the Bank Bali cessie case by requesting a Supreme Court fatwa through the Attorney General's Office.

"The defendant's act was part of the defendant's goal of disguising his origin by means of the money being transferred and spent by the defendant. In addition, the money the defendant said was inherited from the husband of the defendant could not be proven in court," said the prosecutor

In the third indictment, Pinangki was deemed proven guilty of conspiracy with Andi Irfan Jaya, Anita Kolopaking, and Joko Tjandra to promise something in the form of US $ 10 million to officials at the AGO and the Supreme Court.

"Even though the Supreme Court has the authority to issue a fatwa, full execution at the Attorney General's Office as the executor can be concluded that the defendant, Andi Irfan Jaya, Anita Kolopaking, and Djoko Tjandra think the PK decision against Joko Tjandra cannot be executed based on the MA fatwa they will request," said prosecutor Yanuar. .

For this demand, Pinangki will submit a defense note (pledoi) on January 18, 2021.
