Using An ATM Card, Here's How To Disburse Cash Social Assistance From The DKI Provincial Government

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria stated that the cash social assistance provided by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will be channeled through Bank DKI ATM cards.

Currently, Bank DKI has prepared ATM cards for 1.2 million families. Meanwhile, the remaining 750 thousand families were handed over through PT Pos by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"The data collection shows that all residents of DKI Jakarta who have registered will automatically be transferred to Bank DKI. In the next 10 days, ATM cards will be distributed. The money can be collected at ATMs in all Jakarta areas," said Riza at City Hall, Wednesday, January 6.

He said, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared ATM card pick-up locations such as in a number of schools. Currently, his party is still arranging the schedule for withdrawing ATM cards to be distributed.

"We will prepare schools in the vicinity of the residents. Later they will be collected at the school. The list is still being prepared, what date to come, where to set," he said.

Riza said, the process of taking the Rp300 thousand cash social assistance in the ATM card for the recipient could not be represented by other people.

"According to banking regulations, it cannot be entrusted. So, residents accept it directly. So, they must meet directly, face to face," said Riza.

For information, there are three cash assistance programs that will be distributed in 2021, namely the Family Hope Program (PKH), Food Cards, and cash social assistance (bansos). The amount of this cash transfer varies.

There are also details of PKH funds for pregnant or postpartum mothers of IDR 250,000 per month, IDR 250,000 for children from 0-6 years old, IDR 200,000 for people with severe disabilities, and IDR 200,000 for seniors, children's education. SD / Equivalent Rp. 75,000 per month, education for junior high school / equivalent children Rp. 125,000 per month, and education for high school / equivalent children Rp. 166,000 per month.

Funding assistance provided is for a maximum of 4 people in one beneficiary family. PKH is distributed once every three months, namely January, April, July and October.

Second, the basic food cards that are handed over in the form of cash food assistance, the value of the assistance is IDR 200,000 per month per family for one year.

Third, cash assistance worth IDR 300 thousand per month for four months for each family. Cash social assistance is given to people other than PKH recipients and the basic food cards.
