Assault Case Of 6 FPI Laskar, 83 Witnesses Examined By 4 Of Them Police

JAKARTA - The Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri is still investigating the assault case of six Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) troops on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road. A total of 83 witnesses have been questioned, some of whom are members of the National Police.

"Of the 83 witnesses, four of them are members of the National Police," said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Wednesday, January 6.

Even though dozens of witnesses have been questioned, Ramadhan said that the police are still collecting evidence and clues regarding the case. If everything is complete regarding the investigation and investigation, a case title is carried out.

Previously, 6 members of the FPI Laskar were shot dead by the police. They were given strict action for attacking police officers.

According to the police, the attack took place on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road. The attack was started with a special army car which stopped the police car.

Then, about 10 of the special laskar attacked the members' cars using firearms (senpi) and sharp weapons (sajam). Until finally the police returned the shots.

As a result, six people died at the location. Meanwhile, four other troops fled.
