JAKARTA - Two robbers arrested by residents of Tanah Tinggi, Central Jakarta, are still undergoing questioning at the Johar Baru Police Headquarters, Central Jakarta. From the testimony of the two suspects with the initials AR (40) and ER (26), they were desperate to steal because of the pressure of subsistence.

"He has a family. The proceeds of crime are for daily needs," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police, AKP Suprayogo, to journalists, Tuesday, December 6.

In addition, from the confessions of the two suspects, they have often committed various crimes in a number of areas.

"Perpetrators often commit crimes, already 3 times in other areas. Incidentally, today is right in Johar Baru," he said.

Previously it was reported that the two perpetrators of snatching Samsung cellphones in the Baladewa Street area, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, were beaten up by a mob after their actions were caught by the victim on Tuesday, December 6.

One of the perpetrators tried to escape from the pursuit of residents by jumping into the Tanah Tinggi river. But his efforts were in vain.

As a result of their actions, the two suspects with the initials AR (40) and ER (26) ended up in the Johar Baru Police detention cell.
