CILEGON The application of automatic ticketing with Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) technology in Banten Province is still in the trial stage.

Head of Traffic Operations for the Cilegon Police, Iptu Haris Munandar, said that the Cilegon area had not implemented the ETLE system.

"We are currently still adjusting the equipment, and the electronic ticketing system in the city of Cilegon has not yet been implemented. Currently, we are only giving warnings, for traffic violators," said Haris in a written statement Friday, December 2.

Haris also added that currently the Cilegon Police Traffic Unit only gave an appeal to the public to obey traffic in driving.

"Essentially, we have just made appeals and warnings to traffic violators, and because technically we are still testing the electronic ticketing system in Cilegon City. The application of electronic ticketing in Cilegon City is waiting for a decision from the center, mechanismally and in the rules," concluded Haris.
