Meeting MSME Actors In Gresik, Vice President Ma'ruf Make Sure The Government Finds Solutions To The Swallow's Nest Market

GRESIK - Indonesian Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said the government would find a solution to deal with the marketing problem of swallow nest products. "The government has the concern to advance the outbreak, both in terms of management, processing, and marketing. This is the government's commitment," said Vice President Ma'ruf while reviewing the Swallow's Bird Nest Factory as well as having a dialogue with the Swallow's Bird's Nest MSME players in Gresik, East Java, Antara, Friday, September 30. The vice president said the swallow nest industry has a large market even abroad, such as the People's Republic of China (RT), but to enter the current RRT, the conditions are quite complicated so that it is difficult for the swallow's nest exporters to penetrate. "I asked if because the benefits are different, it turns out that it's not a matter of benefits, but a matter of shape. What's strange is that (exports) can't go through other countries, but must go through Hong Kong, so the price is lower," said the Vice President. The vice president asked the swallow nest entrepreneurs to vent the problems of export barriers in detail and immediately convey them to the government. "We will try to find a way how to penetrate the RRT market. It was possible in the past, but later it can't be done anymore," added the Vice President. While looking for a way out, said the Vice President, the government will currently continue to improve the management of the swallow nest industry. "The important thing is that the government has progress in managing and constraints, we will find a way out," said the Vice President. To resolve all technical problems related to the swallow nest industry, the Vice President will immediately coordinate with the relevant ministries and institutions. "Things that are still technical difficulties, we will try together. We will discuss with the Ministry of Agriculture and related parties later. I am grateful, I know and I can see (the problem) here," said the Vice President. The Vice President expressed his appreciation to the swallow nest industry players whose processing is not easy but can produce quality products and hopes that the younger generation will participate in managing and utilizing the potential of swallow nests. "We really want to master everything, elite, anything. That's why we carry out government programs, namely'skilling','reskilling', and 'upskilling'. So so that our human resources have expertise and we can take advantage of all the potential that Allah SWT has given us, including the walet," concluded the Vice President.
