JAKARTA - Rescue officers from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. evacuated a cow snake from the water pond in the Jalan Dalang area, RT 13/05, Munjul Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Monday, September 19, evening. The evacuation was carried out after officers received a report from a resident.

"The evacuation of snakes began at 18.45 WIB and completed the evacuation at 18.50 WIB. There were no casualties or injuries to the evacuation," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, Tuesday, September 20.

There were no obstacles in the evacuation process. Officers evacuated using snake pinchers.

"The object that was evacuated was a 120-centimeter-long cow snake from the pool," he said.

The discovery of the snake began when a resident reported the appearance of a snake from inside the pool while he was on the terrace of the house.

"The complainant was relaxing on the terrace of the house, suddenly saw a snake in the pool. The evacuation was carried out by 3 rescue personnel from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.," he said.
