932 Health Workers In Mukomuko Have Received The First Booster Vaccine, Less Than 416 People

MUKOMUKO - The Mukomuko Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that 932 people from 1,348 health workers (health workers) who were targeted had received the third dose of COVID-19 vaccine or the first booster.

The Head of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Mukomuko District Health Office, Jajad Sudrajat, said that as many as 932 health workers who had received the booster vaccine were spread across the Health Office, RSUD, and 17 health centers.

He stated that his party will continue to provide booster vaccines to health workers who have received vaccine doses I and II but have not received the first booster vaccine.

Jajad said that although the local government would give a second booster vaccine to health workers, the administration of the third or first booster vaccine for health workers was still going on.

Currently, his party is still waiting for the second booster vaccine allocation from the provincial government for 1,348 health workers in this area.

"We at Mukomuko have not carried out the second booster vaccination for health workers because the Moderna vaccine has not yet arrived in Bengkulu Province," he said.

He said the second booster vaccine for health workers and the health workers vaccination had started on July 29, 2022.

He explained that this area has not carried out vaccination activities because almost all health workers in this area use the first booster vaccine, the Moderna type, so the second booster vaccine is also the Moderna type.

Meanwhile, the stock of the second type of Moderna booster vaccine for health workers in this area has not yet arrived in Bengkulu.

However, he said, his party had conveyed an appeal to all health workers in this area to take the second booster vaccine.

"We have conveyed an appeal to all health workers in this area to take the second booster vaccine. In addition, we also urge health workers who have received the second dose of vaccine to take the first booster vaccine," he said.
