JAKARTA - Joint officers from the Kemayoran Sub-district, Central Jakarta held a sidewalk arrangement along Letjen Suprapto Street, Central Jakarta to restore it to a pedestrian path.
The sidewalk arrangement was led by the Deputy Head of Kemayoran Nuralamsyah by deploying dozens of joint personnel consisting of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), the Transportation Service, the National Police, and the TNI.
"The arrangement of sidewalks along Letjen Suprapto Street is part of the enforcement of Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2007 concerning Public Order," said Nuralamsyah, quoting Antara, Wednesday, July 27.
He said that the sidewalk arrangement aims to beautify the city and restore the function of sidewalks for pedestrians.
According to him, the arrangement on Letjen Suprapto Street starts from Harapan Mulya Village, Cempaka Baru until the exit point of Sumur Batu is three kilometers long.
During the activity, which started at 9 am, a number of goods and motorized vehicles belonging to the kiosks which were deemed to interfere with the function of the pedestrian path were removed by officers, and several others were transported into trucks.

Then for the goods that are transported, they must be coordinated with the Sub-district Satpol PP to take care of the documents in accordance with the applicable procedures.
