JAKARTA - The state will bear the cost of childbirth, said the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendi, Thursday, July 21. This is an effort to protect the needs and rights of children guaranteed by the government, according to Presidential Instruction No. 5 of 2022. This protection has been carried out by the government in the form of BPJS membership. However, the protection must meet the criteria, namely the poor or the underprivileged through the Maternity Guarantee or Jampersal program. Watch the video below.
