PAN Clarifies About Zulhas Sharing 'Our Oil' While Campaigning For His Daughter: Buy Futri, Not Free

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) has clarified the allegations about Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan who was seen as campaigning for his daughter Futri Zulya Savitri, while distributing cooking oil packaged in Oil Kita.

Deputy Chairperson of PAN Viva Yoga Mauladi explained that the event attended by Zulkifli Hasan was a low-cost market event held by PAN in Bandar Lampung. At the event, Zulhas did invite his daughter who is also the administrator of the PAN DPP and the PAN Legislative Candidate for the Lampung 1 Dapil.

"The event is not a government or ministry event, but a party event. It's Saturday, ASN employees in the government are on holiday," Viva said when confirmed, Tuesday, July 12.

It is known that the packaged cooking oil of our Oil is a program of the Ministry of Trade. The Ministry of Trade's official Twitter account also informed that Zulhas was in Lampung to distribute the 7,000 liters of cooking oil.

However, Viva again denied that Zulhas used the distribution of 7,000 liters of Kita Oil to campaign for his daughter. According to Viva, Futri Zulya Savitri bought the packaged cooking oil and then distributed it to the public at cheap markets for free.

The price of Oil is pegged at Rp. 14 thousand per liter regardless of its location. However, in this event, the cooking oil is sold at a price of Rp. 10 thousand for 2 liters.

However, on that occasion Zulkifli asked residents who came to buy not to pay, because Futri would pay for the oil.

"Well, you don't need to give the money, just put it in your pocket, in your pocket! Futri is responsible for Rp. 10 thousand," said Zulhas in the video that was circulating.

Zulhas even openly asked residents to vote for their children during the next election. "Received from Ms. Futri, applause, ladies, it's free! But do you choose Futri! Okay? So if you choose Futri, then every two months there will be ginian (free cooking oil)," said Zulkifli.
