MEDAN - North Sumatra Governor (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi asked the Medan City Government to close 2 Holywings outlets at the community's urging following the promotion of alcoholic beverages for the owner of the name Muhammad-Maria.

Bobby Nasution asserted that he had responded from the start so that Holywings in Medan was closed.

"As for Holywings, it's closed, please check it," said Bobby Nasution, Monday, July 4.

Meanwhile, regarding the revocation of the Holywings permit, Bobby does not want to be lazy to follow the steps that have been taken by the DKI Jakarta government.

"Revoke permission, I don't want to get involved," he explained.

Regarding Gubsu Edy's appeal, President Joko Widodo's son-in-law said the North Sumatra Provincial Government could revoke Holywings' permit. This refers to PP No. 5 of 2021

"The permit case is being checked. We have to read it carefully. In accordance with the latest regulations, if I'm not mistaken, PP No. 5 2021, there is a written rule that for high-risk business permits, the permit will be issued by the provincial government," he explained.

"In the past, in PP 2018, the permit was at the City Government. But now the high-risk one, such as the liquor distribution permit, must be in the province. So it's not that I disobeyed the governor's or vice governor's instructions. to the provincial government after the latest PP," he continued.

The condition of Holywings in Medan, from the beginning, cases of alleged religious blasphemy appeared, immediately closed and no longer operated. This was confirmed by the Head of Medan City Police, Rahmat Harahap.

"So they have indeed closed. When the case was excited, Mr. Wali also asked them to close it so as to prevent unwanted actions," said Rahmat.

Regarding the revocation of his own permit, Rahmat said his party was coordinating with Gubsu Edy this afternoon.
