Chairman Of The BK DPRD Gresik Becomes Suspect In The Case Of Men Marrying Sheep, East Java NasDem Respects Legal Process

SURABAYA - A member of the Gresik DPRD from the NasDem faction is one of four suspects in the alleged blasphemy case in the case of a viral video of a man marrying a goat.

However, the DPW of the East Java NasDem Party has not given any sanctions, because it has not received an official statement from the Gresik NasDem DPD regarding the case.

"I convey that we must respect the ongoing legal process, because we have not yet received an official statement from the Gresik NasDem DPD," said Vice Chairman of the East Java NasDem Media Division, Vinsensius Awey, in a written statement, Friday, July 1.

Apart from not having received an official statement from the DPD NasDem Gresik, Awey said the East Java NasDem DPW applied the principle of presumption of innocence. Therefore, NasDem has not been able to impose sanctions on Nur Hudi Didin Arianto.

"We must respect the principle of presumption of innocence. Of course we will give sanctions when we know the official chronology of the DPD NasDem Gresik. If nothing has been determined, we have already imposed sanctions on the person concerned, I think this is unfair," he said.

Awey said the East Java NasDem handed over the legal process to the authorities. Considering the case of blasphemy is a sensitive case among the public.

"Because we don't yet know the official or written chronology from the Gresik DPD. But whatever decision is taken in the legal process, NasDem will obey and obey the decision," he said.

The Gresik Police have named four suspects for alleged blasphemy in the viral video of human marriage with sheep in Gresik. One of the suspects is a member of the Gresik DPRD, F-NasDem, who serves as Chairman of the Honorary Body (BK) of the Gresik DPRD.

The four suspects are Arif Syaifullah (US) as the content owner, Syaiful Arif (SA) playing Satria Piningit, Sutrisna (S) playing the head of the village, and Nur Hudi (N) owner of the Ki Ageng Sacred Padepokan which is located in Jogodalu Village, Benjeng District, Gresik.
