Nusantara Youth Alliance Sues Holywings For Rp. 35.5 Trillion To Central Jakarta District Court

JAKARTA - The Islamic and Christian youth organization Aliansi Pemuda Nusantara has sued the company that oversees Holywings' operations, PT Aneka Bintang Gading, for Rp. 35.5 trillion to the Central Jakarta District Court.

"We will use the money to build houses of worship for all religious people in Indonesia," said Chairman of the Nusantara Youth Alliance, Prince Negara in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, July 1.

The prince explained that Holywings' alleged blasphemy was the first case in Indonesia that had commercial or profit values. As a result of the blasphemy, the Prince emphasized that Holywings must be materially responsible before the law.

The prince said that Muslims and Christians suffered losses due to the alleged unlawful acts committed by Holywings, so the Nusantara Youth Alliance filed a class action lawsuit.

In addition to the material, Prince said that Holywings' actions caused immaterial losses, so that the alleged criminal acts were not only charged to six employees who have been accused by South Jakarta Metro Police investigators.

"But we also ask the management in this case as well as the shareholders to be responsible as well," said Prince.

Prince revealed that the six Holywings employees who became suspects were victims as an attitude of escaping the company's management responsibility.

Another thing according to Prince, the management must apologize to all Indonesian people for insulting and insulting Muslims and Christians.
