JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta DPRD plans to form a special committee (pansus) for entertainment businesses in Jakarta. This special committee was planned to be formed after the violation of Holywings' license which had just been revealed.

A member of Commission B of the DKI DPRD, Wahyu Dewanto, explained the reason why the DKI DPRD needed to form a special entertainment committee. According to him, there are suspicions that another restaurant business has the same delinquency as Holywings, namely selling alcohol by serving it on the spot without having a bar business certificate.

"Please, the leadership of Commission B, if possible, suggest a special committee on this entertainment so that it's not only the Holywings problem (which is revealed). This Holywings is just a disgrace. I think there are still a lot of others," said Wahyu at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, yesterday. .
In response to this, the Secretary of Commission B of the DKI DPRD, Pandapotan Sinaga, said that the leadership of the Commission approved the proposal to form a special committee. This proposal will be submitted to the leadership of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
As regulated in PP Number 12 of 2018, a special committee was formed in a plenary meeting at the suggestion of DPRD members. Members of the Special Committee are made up of at most 25 members, consisting of members of the relevant commissions proposed by each faction.
"Maybe we will propose this special entertainment committee," said Pandapotan.
