Head of Traffic and Traffic Unit of North Jakarta Metro Police AKP Edi Wibowo said the incident occurred on Wednesday, June 29, at 01.30 WIB.
“The victim died, a passerby, Mr. X," said Edi when confirmed, Wednesday, June 29.
Edi said that the truck with the license plate number B 9565 UIX, driven by S (the driver's initials), was previously traveling from the west to the east. However, at the crime scene (TKP) S hit the victim and died on the spot.
"Exactly opposite KF Jupiter in the Koja area, North Jakarta, hit a pedestrian Mr. X," he said.
The cause of the accident is still investigating the case. Now S has been detained by the police.
