JAKARTA - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police predicts 20 thousand people will watch the MXGP Indonesia Samota-Sumbawa, Sunday, June 26. Anticipatory steps have also been prepared to overcome disruptions to activities, including traffic jams.

The NTB Police have prepared a special vehicle belonging to the Police to support the process of transporting spectators, especially when they return home.

"Because we predict that there will be 20,000 residents who will crowd the Samota MXGP Circuit area at the weekend's event, for that we have prepared special transport vehicles to assist the process of returning spectators," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Artanto, as quoted by Antara.

Officers will later serve the route from the MXGP Samota Circuit area to the entrance gate to Sumbawa, such as to Badas Port and Sumer Payung Terminal.

"So we have prepared 20 vehicles belonging to the Police of the type of transport trucks and buses. Our transport fleet is spread to a number of routes, the starting point of the circuit," he said.

In the last event of extreme class motorcycle racing that took place on Sumbawa Island, Artanto advised visitors, especially local people, to come to the circuit area using two-wheeled vehicles.

"In order to avoid traffic jams, it would be better to come by motorbike, more relaxed," he said.

Furthermore, Artanto conveyed that the last momentum for the MXGP Samota event would be a music concert from a veteran band from Indonesia, namely Slank.

At the closing there will also be festivities displayed by the committee, namely fireworks celebrations and other musical events.
