JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force (KSAU) Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo inaugurated 174 officers who graduated from the 26th Army Formation of Officers (Setukpa) of the Indonesian Air Force at the Adi Soemarmo Airfield Dirgantara Field, Karanganyar, Central Java today.

In the inauguration and taking the oath, Fadjar Prasetyo acted as inspector of ceremonies, followed by 174 officers with the rank of Second Lieutenant (Letda) and attended by a number of officials within the Indonesian Air Force.

A total of 174 officers graduated from the 26th Setukpa Force, consisting of 161 male students and 13 female Air Force students (wara).

They underwent education from the NCO to become officers with the rank of Letda, namely 31 technical corps, 34 electronic corps, 41 special corps, 17 health corps, 9 administrative corps, 18 debriefing corps, 16 military police corps, and 8 troop people.

Fadjar Prasetyo congratulated the 174 newly inaugurated officers with the rank of Lieutenant. In particular, he also congratulated Health Lieutenant John Kristanto from the Indonesian Air Force Hospital Dr. Siswanto Adi Soemarmo Air Base as the best graduate of the 26th batch of Setukpa.

The inaugurated officers have reached the peak stage after going through a five-month struggle by studying at the Adi Soemarmo Airbase Setukpa Institute.

With hard work of sacrifice and struggle, the officers got commensurate results and became an honor in taking service in the future.

He added that according to the strategic plan in the next few years, the Indonesian Air Force will be equipped with the main tools of the latest generation of weapons systems (defense equipment), ranging from transport aircraft, fighter aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft, to air defense radar.
