JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto provides a briefing to participants in the Army Unit Commander's Appointment at the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java. Prabowo emphasized that one of the national goals of the founding of this country is to protect all bloodshed and the nation's future.

"The state aims to protect all the blood spilled. That's why you have to protect and safeguard the future of the country and the people", said Defense Minister Prabowo as quoted in a written statement from the Public Relations Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense, Thursday, June 23.

“The fate of this nation rests on the shoulders and hands of all of you. As patriots our task is not light, we have to work hard for it", he continued.

Defense Minister Prabowo also emphasized that the issue of national defense needs to be a shared concern.

"As Sun Tzu explains in The Art of War. The defense must be learned and should not be ignored. This is what I say the future of the country rests on your shoulders", he continued.

Defense Minister Prabowo added that Indonesia must learn from the Russia-Ukraine war that affected the whole world, even affecting regional stability.

Seeing what is happening there, the TNI needs to improve its organizational structure, for example by determining the doctrine and logistics organization.

"Our work is not easy but we remain optimistic, we work hard", said Prabowo.
