The Identities Of The Two Robbers Who Flushed Minimarket Employees With Gasoline Are Known, The Police Are Pursuing Them

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the East Jakarta Metro Police assesses that the robberies that occurred at two minimarkets in East Jakarta are the same perpetrators. Because of the mode used, the perpetrators doused the shop employees with gasoline and threatened them with a gun.

The reason is, the mode of action of robbery carried out in each minimarket is the same, the perpetrators carry firearms and gasoline.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Ahsanul Muqaffi explained that the perpetrators of the robbery were the same person.

"(The perpetrator) is the same person," said AKBP Ahsanul to reporters, Tuesday, June 14.

Based on the investigation, the robbery in two different minimarkets, the perpetrator pretended to buy goods. Then, said Ahsanul, when conditions were quiet one of the perpetrators pointed a firearm at the cashier. Meanwhile, another perpetrator poured gasoline on another employee. Then proceed to steal the money stored on the cashier counter.

The East Jakarta Police revealed that the identity of the perpetrator was known and is currently being pursued.

"Again I'm chasing the culprit, because his identity has been found, I pray that he will be caught soon," he said.

Previously, robberies took place at two East Jakarta minimarkets, namely Jalan Otista Raya and Jalan Raya Cipayung Defense Headquarters. The two perpetrators brought firearms and gasoline to water the victims so they wouldn't fight back.
