PUPR Builds Suspension Bridge In Buluh Cina Tourism Village Kampar

PEKANBARU - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the DPR's aspiration fund built a tourist suspension bridge in Buluh Cina Tourism Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency.

"The existence of this bridge is believed to be able to support community accessibility and have an impact on efforts to improve the economic, social and other sectors so that people's welfare increases," Riau Governor Syamsuar said on the sidelines of laying the first stone, reported by Antara, Saturday, June 11.

Syamsuar said that the Riau Provincial Government will continue to make village development a priority in order to make the accessibility of local communities more open.

He said the bridge that connects Hamlet III and Hamlet I of Buluh Cina Tourism Village is expected to be able to drive the tourism and economic sectors in the local village.

"With a good bridge design and supported by beautiful scenery in the area, a suspension bridge funded by the State Budget of IDR 4.6 billion can become a beautiful and charming tourist destination," he said.

Syamsuar asked the Buluh Cina Tourism Village Government to educate and socialize how to care for the suspension bridge to the public. In addition, the community continues to maintain the cleanliness of tourist sites to be in line with the halal tourism development program in Riau Province.

"We hope that the community's support here, especially in preparing themselves, how this village is clean, this village shows its identity in the Malay area, identical with Islam," he hoped.
