Power Outages For 9 Hours In The Outskirts Of Kupang City, Residents Are Confused About Activities

KUPANG - A number of housewives on the outskirts of Kupang City in the Gemstone housing estate and in Madelina Residance, Alak District, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara complained of a nine-hour blackout in the area.

"We are confused about what else to do. The electricity has been out since 09.00 WITA and until now it has not turned on either," said Julia, a housewife who lives in the Madelina Residance housing estate, Alak District, Kupang City, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 2.

He was forced to buy food and rice at the stall. Not only that, you can't even take a shower because the electric water pump doesn't turn on.

"Not to mention the hot weather," he said.

Julia had reported the blackout since 09.30 WITA and at 13.00 WITA had reported back through the PLN Mobile application, but so far the electricity has not been turned on.

The same thing was conveyed by Intan, a housewife in the Gemstone housing area who was affected by the blackout.

"I don't know what else to say, it's been a power outage since earlier," he added.

Until this news was revealed at 17.49 WITA, the electricity in the two housing estates had not yet turned on.
