As Inspector Of Ceremonies At Ende East Nusa Tenggara, Jokowi Invites Young People To Implement Pancasila

JAKARTA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who acts as the Inspector of the State Ceremony of the Commemoration of the Birthday of Pancasila at the Pancasila Field, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, invites the nation's young people to bring Pancasila to life.

"From the City of Ende, I invite all children of the nation wherever they are to jointly cultivate Pancasila and actualize the noble values of Pancasila in the life of society, nation, and state," said the President in his address at Pancasila Square, Wednesday, June 1.

From the historical city, where the Proclaimer Bung Karno contemplated and formulated Pancasila, City of Ende, the President said that Pancasila not only unites the community, but also becomes a guiding star when the nation faces trials. This has been proven many times in the history of the nation and state because society is based on Pancasila.

On that occasion, as reported by Antara, the President reminded the public to properly practice Pancasila and fight for the realization of a system of society, nationhood, and statehood.

The President also asked that there will be the implementation of governance that animates the interaction among the nation's children.

"This is our collective duty. It is the duty of all components of the nation to make Pancasila a working ideology, whose presence is felt and benefits all of the blood spilled," said the President.

The Head of State also said that the world situation is still engulfed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the energy, food, poverty, and war crises.

Therefore, as the holder of the mandate of the G20 Presidency in 2022, Indonesia invites all developed countries to build a global health system that can face future crises.

"Of course, we need healthy and humane and fair governance," he said.

At the end of his mandate, the President invited all government leaders, religious leaders, community leaders, and other leaders to be role models and examples in actualizing the values of Pancasila.

"Strengthening the values of Pancasila, realizing an advanced Indonesia and the ideals of the proclamation of independence," said the President, closing his mandate.
