Motorcycle Thief At Rangkasbitung Kalijaga Terminal Critical After Stone Hits His Head

LEBAK - The Rangkasbitung Police Criminal Investigation Unit in the Lebak Police have uncovered three crime scenes (TKP) in the case of motor vehicle theft (curanmor) in the jurisdiction of the Rangkasbitung Police.

The location of the third theft occurred at the Kalijaga Rangkasbitung Terminal, Muara Ciujung Timur Village, Rangkasbitung District, Lebak Regency, Tuesday, May 24.

The Head of the Lebak Police of the Banten Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Wiwin Setiawan through the Head of the Rangkasbitung Police of the Lebak Police Commissioner Adjutant Pipih Iwan Hermansyah explained that at around 05.00 western Indonesia time, Tuesday, May 24, a Honda Beat motorcycle number A-6597-OB was stolen by breaking the ignition key.

"The victim is on behalf of Ahmad Topari, the perpetrator has the initials YP (44). The perpetrator broke the vehicle's ignition key with the letter T key. However, his actions were discovered by traders and residents around the scene," explained Commissioner Adjutant of Police Pipih Iwan Hermansyah in a written statement, Tuesday, May 24, evening.

As a result of the mob, the perpetrator suffered serious injuries all over his body. Luckily his life can still be saved.

"There was a mass tantrum against the perpetrator. There was a serious wound on the head bleeding a lot, so the perpetrator is in a critical condition, lying in the parking lot of the Kalijaga Rangkasbitung Terminal, but the perpetrator is still alive at the crime scene" Winwin said.

After members of the Rangkasbitung Police arrived at the location, the perpetrator was immediately rushed to Adjidarmo Hospital to receive medical treatment.

The evidence seized by the police was a Honda Beat motorbike, Nopol A-6597-OB, in the name of Ahmad Topari, one STNK, one T key, 4 keys, 1 ignition key and 7 vehicle keys of various brands.

"The perpetrator is currently still being treated at the Adjidarmo Hospital," he concluded.
