Construction Worker Who Stabbed Siri's Wife With Kitchen Knife Caught

TANGERANG - The police managed to arrest DK (36), the husband who had the heart to stab his wife, KA (24) with a kitchen knife under the Bitung Toll Bridge, Curug, Tangerang Regency.

The Curug Police Chief, Kompol Agung Nugroho, said the perpetrator was arrested while trying to escape, after stabbing the victim until she lay at the crime scene (TKP).

"The perpetrator was chased, which we finally managed to apprehend when he was about to escape by public transportation," Agung said when confirmed, Monday, May 23.

Meanwhile, Siri DK's wife was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.

"The victim was immediately assisted by residents, and some of them reported it to us. As a follow-up, the victim was taken to the nearest hospital," he said.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution with a sentence of more than 5 years in prison.

Previously, it was reported that a husband abused his wife, KA with a kitchen knife under the Bitung Toll Bridge, Curug, Tangerang Regency.

The beginning of the incident occurred when the perpetrator sought information from residents about the whereabouts of his wife. After the perpetrator found out that his wife was in Balaraja, Tangerang, he immediately followed to pick her up.

"Finally, the perpetrator looked for his wife, until it was discovered that his wife was in Balaraja. When he met the victim to take her home, but the victim refused," Agung said when confirmed, Monday, May 23.

The perpetrator was annoyed because his wife refused to invite him. Until finally, on the way, the perpetrator pretended to stop by the market with the excuse of buying cigarettes. But apparently, apart from buying cigarettes, the perpetrators also bought kitchen knives.

"The perpetrator bought a kitchen knife around Balaraja Market, while pretending to buy cigarettes so that the victim would not suspect anything," he said.

When the perpetrator and the victim went to take an angkot that went to Jalan Raya Gatot Subroto towards Bitung, Curug, Tangerang, the two of them got into a commotion and got off the angkot.

The commotion did not subside, the victim's hair was grabbed by the perpetrator, and even his face was hit against the asphalt road. Even the knife purchased at the market was used by the perpetrator to injure his wife.

"When they got off the angkot, the two of them got into an argument. There the perpetrator immediately assaulted the victim. Until the perpetrator stabbed the victim's ear and stomach," said Agung.
