Russia Strikes Donbas And Mykolaiv, Destroys Three Ukrainian Command Centers And Four Ammunition Depots

JAKARTA - Russia is pounding Ukrainian troops with air and artillery strikes in the east and south, targeting command centers, troops, and ammunition depots, Russia's defense ministry said on Sunday.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said air-launched missiles hit three command points, 13 areas where Ukrainian troops and military equipment were congregating, as well as four ammunition depots in Donbas.

"In the southern Ukrainian region of Mykolaiv, Russian rockets hit a mobile anti-drone system near the settlement of Hannivka, about 100 km northeast of the city of Mykolaiv," Konashenkov said.

Rockets and artillery hit 583 areas where Ukrainian troops and military equipment were congregating, 41 control points, 76 artillery, and mortar units in firing position, including three Grad batteries, as well as the Ukrainian Bukovel electronic warfare station near the Hannivka settlement, Mykolaiv region, Konashenkov said.

"Since special military operations began on February 24, Russia has destroyed 174 aircraft, 125 helicopters, 977 unmanned aerial vehicles, 317 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,198 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles and 408 multiple rocket launchers," Konashenkov said.
