While in the United States, President Jokowi attended a series of ASEAN-US Special Summit activities in Washington DC, visiting Space X in Boca Chica as well as meeting its founder, Elon Musk.
From the United States, the President took the time to stop in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to pay tribute to the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the working visit, Jokowi was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, and Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia.
