JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has implemented an open-close scheme on the two lane roads of the Jakarta-Cikampek Kilometer (KM) 41 toll road towards Cikampek.
"The scheme of opening and closing lanes is due to bridge repair work at the location," said Public Relations of Jasa Marga for the Jakarta-Cikampek Branch Hendra Damanik in a statement received in Bekasi, West Java, as reported by Antara , Wednesday, October 14.
Hendra said the bridge repair work was scheduled to take place for three days from Tuesday to Thursday, October 15, at 04.00 WIB.
In addition to the lane opening and closing scheme, Jasa Marga has also prepared risk mitigation to anticipate congestion that could potentially occur due to this work.
These risk mitigation includes closing some lanes, narrowing the work area, installing work appeals banners, and preparing a contra flow scheme when conditions are already congested.
"We always coordinate with the Police Highway Patrol and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator," he said.
