JAKARTA - Ade Armando's legal team suspects that there are radical groups who deliberately take advantage of the demonstration situation in front of the DPR RI Building on Monday, April 11. Because according to him the perpetrators who were arrested were not students.

"We suspect that there is a radical group behind the student demonstrations taking advantage of the situation yesterday," Fahmi told reporters in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 14.

"Because from several arrests it turns out that there are Koran teachers, security, arrested in Islamic boarding schools and others," he continued.

Fahmi appealed to law enforcement not to give space to radical groups. Because according to him, the group will move at will and pollute all forms of activity.

"We urge that this law enforcement must really be carried out. So as not to give space to radical and extremist groups, so that they do not act as they wish in the Republic of Indonesia," he concluded.

As information, the case of the beating that befell University of Indonesia (UI) lecturer Ade Armando continues to be investigated. So far, a total of seven perpetrators of the beating have been arrested by the police.

"In total, yes, so a total of seven (the perpetrators were arrested)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Endra Zulpan.

The perpetrators arrested were Komarudin, Moh Bagja, Dhia Ul Hag, Arif Pardiani, Abdul Latif, Markos Iswan and Al Fikri.
