JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has received documents related to allegations of bribery in the management of cases by inactive Surabaya District Court Judge Itong Isnaeni Hidayat.

This document was received after the investigator finished coordinating with the Surabaya District Court to obtain evidence of Itong's actions.

"The Investigative Team has finished coordinating with the Surabaya District Court regarding requests for various evidence needed in the investigation process, including a number of documents handling cases by suspect IIH and his friends," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters, Friday, January 28. .

Ali said the investigation team had been well facilitated by the court. Furthermore, the evidence received will be analyzed and confiscated.

In addition, this document will also be reconfirmed against the witnesses who will soon be examined.

"The KPK Investigation Team was well facilitated by the Surabaya District Court and then received various documents for the needs of investigating this case," he said.

"Furthermore, the documentary evidence will be immediately analyzed and confiscated to complete the case file and at the same time be reconfirmed to the witnesses who will soon be summoned by the KPK Investigative Team," Ali added.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has appointed the inactive Surabaya District Court Judge Itong Isnaeni Hidayat and the substitute clerk, Hamdan, as recipients of bribes. While the giver is a lawyer and representative of PT Soyu Giri Primedika, Hendro Kasiono.

This bribe was given by Hendro Kasiono so that the decision on the PT SGP case was according to his party's wishes, namely that the company was declared disbanded with a divisible asset value of IDR 50 billion.

The money given by Hendro to Hamdan was carried out in the parking lot of the Surabaya District Court Building amounting to Rp140 million as a sign of completion. However, before the money was in the hands of Judge Itong, the anti-corruption commission carried out an arrest operation (OTT).
