JAKARTA - The Manager of the Control and Communications Project for the Revitalization of Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) Adriani said that the development progress on the revitalization of TIM is almost complete.

"The progress of TIM's revitalization is almost complete. In fact, it has physically been completed, only the small details, finishing and permits are left," said Adriani to reporters, Friday, January 21.

As of January 17, 2022, it was noted that the first phase of the revitalization was almost complete. Among them are the Amir Hamzah Mosque and the garden parking building which have reached 100 percent, and the Long Building which includes libraries, galleries, and art homestays which have reached 99 percent.

The second stage is the Planetarium and art training center with 68 percent, the Annex Gallery with 99 percent; Graha Bhakti Budaya (GBB) 75 percent, and the theater page 50 percent.

Then, following the third stage with the process of installing lights, to equipment in the interior of buildings.

"The first phase is 99 percent complete. The second phase of the third phase, we are almost following the progress, so that it can be completed more or less soon," he said.

Adriani said that the new face of the revitalized TIM will increase the capacity of green space by 12 percent. So, now the green space reaches 27 percent in one area.

"Now, the concept is green space and public open space. There will be more space to walk because the parking building is in the basement. This basement will be integrated with the Panjang Building and GBB," said Adriani.
