7 Districts In Pidie Jaya Aceh Flood

BANDA ACEH - The Aceh Disaster Management Agency (BPBA) said seven sub-districts in Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh were flooded. This condition is triggered by high intensity rainfall.

"According to reports, the water level starts from 50-80 centimeters," said BPBA Chief Executive Ilyas through the BPBA Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) in Banda Aceh, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 18.

Ilyas explained that the flood had overflowed in Pidie Jaya since Monday, January 17, at around 17.00 WIB. The current condition is that the Medan-Banda Aceh Road in the Pidie Jaya-Pidie border area is still flooded, as are several villages which are still inundated by floods.

"It has been raining since 17:00 in Pidie Jaya Regency, causing flooding and flooding in several locations in Pidie Jaya Regency," he said.

Temporary data, he said, for the affected victims were 353 families (KK) in Bandar Baru District and 280 people in 90 families in Ulim District. Generally, officers still continue to collect data on affected victims in each area.
