Bappenas-Pansus IKN Bill Visit Important Locations For National Capital Development

JAKARTA - The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas together with the Special Committee for the Draft Law on the National Capital City (Pansus RUU IKN) of the House of Representatives reviewed the location points for IKN development in North Penajam Paser (PPU), East Kalimantan.

"A number of important locations for the IKN development in North Penajam Paser, such as bypass roads, the Planned Airport-Kewasan Central Government (KIPP) Toll Road, and the Balang Island Bridge," said IKN Communications Team Leader Sidik Pramono, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 14.

The aerial review led by the Chair of the Special Committee for the IKN Bill Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung also looked at the location of the KIPP Ring Road, the candidate for the location of the MPR/DPR/DPD Building Complex, the prospective location for the State Palace, the zero point of IKN development, to the Sepaku Semoi Dam which is the focus area of ​​the review. air.

The review is one of the important series in the process of drafting the IKN Bill which is being discussed by the government with the DPR.

Then, the Special Committee for the IKN Bill continued to review Borneo Bay City and Grand City Balikpapan to review vertical housing pilots and landed houses.

The peak of the working visit, which was also attended by the Deputy for Monitoring, Evaluation and Control of Development of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas Taufik Hanafi and the Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas J Rizal Primana, was a meeting and discussion between the Special Committee on the IKN Bill of the DPR and community leaders and non-governmental organizations (NGO).

In the discussion that solicited suggestions and input from the community for the future of IKN, representatives of community elements from PPU, Balikpapan, to Samarinda who united expressed their support for IKN development and hoped that IKN would be able to become a symbol of national identity as well as the driving force of the Indonesian economy.

The agenda also included relatives of the Kutai Kartanegara Sultanate Ing Martadipura, the Paser Sultanate, the Kutai Kartanegara Sultanate, the Paser Balik indigenous community, the Kutai Lampong indigenous community, as well as community leaders from Muara Jawa, Samboja, Sepaku, Pemaluan, Sungai Payung, to Tenggarong.

"The whole series of work visits to PPU are important part of drafting the IKN Bill, especially in terms of listening to the public, collecting every suggestion submitted so that in the future IKN really becomes a 'World City for All'," concluded Sidik.
