Army Commander General Andika Perkasa Admits He Got A Lot Of Knowledge From Sultan Hamengku Buwono X

YOGYAKARTA - TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa admitted that he had learned a lot from the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X.

"I have learned many lessons, experience, and knowledge from him as a practitioner and senior", said Andika Perkasa after meeting the Sultan at the Kepatihan office, Yogyakarta, quoted by Antara on Friday, December 31.

The meeting between the TNI (Army) Commander and Sultan Hamengku Buwono X took place at Gedhong Wilis, Kepatihan Office Complex from 13.38 WIB to 16.51 WIB.

Before meeting the Sultan, the TNI Commander accompanied by his wife visited the Plebengan Elementary School, Sidomulyo Village, Bantul Regency, to review the COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6 to 11 years.

According to him, Sultan Hamengku Buwono X is a senior figure who has a lot of experience in the field of government.

This also prompted Andika to spend more than three hours meeting the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and the King of the Yogyakarta Palace.

"So I'm taking this time to ask a lot of questions. Actually, it's not just about the pandemic. If it's clear it will be part of our conversation, but more of his experience as a senior who has experience in government which will definitely be very useful for me", said Andika.

Meanwhile, the Sultan views that his meeting with the TNI Commander is not just a place to exchange experiences in the process in their respective professions.

The conversation between the two flowed casually from cultural issues to household issues.

"He is the commander, I am the governor, so dialogue, 'joke' (joke) yes you can, (talk about) household yes you can, culture yes you can. Yes, we can talk about all aspects to relieve stress", said the Sultan.
