Secretary General Of PP Ormas Summoned To Polda Metro Jaya, Head Of BPPH: Don't Let Excessive Actions

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police investigators summoned the Secretary General of the Pancasila Youth National Leadership Council (PP) Arif Rahman and Chairman of the East Jakarta MPC PP Norman Silitonga regarding the follow-up to the demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR RI building, some time ago.

The head of the Pancasila Youth Legal Counseling and Defending Agency (BPPH) Razman Arif Nasution said his party responded to the usual things related to the summons. For him, there is no problem if there is an examination of the secretary general.

"If the police want to look for a series of laws, go ahead. Don't overdo the investigation process," he said, Monday, December 13.

Razman said the examination of his client was solely for investigation purposes. Thus, he requested that there be no opinion polls that vilify the name of the Pancasila Youth Organization.

"Don't let there be an image as if the Secretary-General participated, all kinds of things, don't let there be a sway of opinion," he said.

As is known, this examination is the aftermath of the Pancasila Youth Organization demonstration which was held in front of the DPR/MPR RI building to demand PDI-P cadre Junimart Girsang apologize for his statement about mass organizations.

However, the action was provoked until the Head of the Operations Section of the Traffic Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Dermawan Karosekali, became a victim of minor abuse.
